Our mission
Better decisions start with understanding how we think. Learn to question the stories, biases and assumptions that shape what you notice, how you interpret events and the actions you take.
Workshop overview
A progressive learning pathway: understand your thinking, improve how you approach decisions, then build the capability for others to do the same. Work on a real leadership challenge through demonstrations, small-team discussion, coaching practice and reflection.
Timing
The depth and emphasis are shaped around your available time and priorities.
Who it’s for
Leaders, managers and emerging leaders who want to make better decisions, strengthen team engagement and help others take ownership—especially through change and uncertainty.
Number of people
Practical activities run in small teams of 6–7, using large pads and pens.
A workbook is provided. Bring an open mind and a real leadership challenge; overall group size is agreed during your briefing.
Three stages. Stronger leadership.
Culture is shaped by what leaders model, encourage and accept every day. Develop the mindset, shared language and practical behaviours to build high-performing teams through change and adversity.

Understand how your mind shapes decisions.
Recognise anchoring, confirmation, sunk cost and status quo bias. Separate facts from interpretations, and notice how stories, labels and social influences affect your judgement.

Step back, reframe and lead with clearer judgement.
Notice your reactions and test your first interpretation. Explore wider perspectives, alternative options and longer-term consequences before choosing your response.

Develop judgement, trust and meaningful ownership.
Help people explain what they intend to do and why. Let go with clear purpose, expectations, authority, capability and decision boundaries.
From insight to action
Short teaching inputs and demonstrations lead into discussion, coaching practice and reflection. Apply the selected modules to a challenge you are facing now.

Leading through uncertainty
You need people who can ask better questions, make sound decisions and take responsibility for the next step.
Take the next step
The Human Advantage leadership keynote can open the program with a 60-minute, high-energy experience. Interactive psychological illusions create curiosity and expose the gap between observation and interpretation. Continue into the workshop to apply those insights, or choose a standalone session for your team.
A workbook is provided. Participants bring an open mind and a real leadership decision or challenge to work on throughout. Small teams of 6–7 work with large pads and pens. Each participant leaves with an action to apply within seven days and an accountability partner to support follow-through.
Leaders, managers and emerging leaders who want to strengthen their everyday leadership behaviours, coach their people and build capability through change and uncertainty.
The Human Advantage introduces the thinking behind assumptions, bias and culture. The Leadership Mindset workshop translates those concepts into practical behaviours across Think Better, Coach Better and Build Capability. It can be discussed as a follow-on to the keynote or as a standalone workshop.
The framework encourages leaders to question assumptions, understand resistance to change, set clear expectations and develop people’s judgement. The focus is on behaviours leaders can use even when they do not have every answer.
The briefing explores your team’s context, leadership challenges and intended outcomes. Share what is changing, where people need support and what you want them to do differently so the workshop can be shaped around your needs.
Choose a breakout focused on one module, a half-day workshop or a full-day session. Activities use small teams of 6–7; the overall group size is agreed around your team and format. Fees are provided in a tailored proposal based on your objectives, location and chosen format.
